![]() As time goes on, they should be held to a higher standard. Yes, this is the worst period for gaming it seems, but it really shouldn't be, and we shouldn't LOWER our expectations when things were pretty damn fine before. Now the game and launcher works fine for me, but to say that other people aren't having actual issues, and just blaming some incompatibility or driver, is lying to yourself. How long have they been making games now? Too long for this level of crap. Look at how much money they make but still claim it isn't enough for them. To be fair to this guy, our expectations should be high for AAA devs and publishers. don't expect too much and learn to solve problems on your own you absolute tool. Also go and trouble shoot your problems yourself, you complain way too much and you seem to have high expectations for the AAA industry when during this time we are probably at the worst for triple a industries. Social club got revamped to the rockstar launcher, however it still exists. ![]() The rockstar launcher did not even come out when GTA 4 was a thing. Also why on earth did you choose to have RDR2 load through your bug ridden Rockstar Launcher? That thing hasn't worked properly since GTA 4. So yeah Rockstar you wanted this to be a smooth, working port without any patches and in true fashion you blew it again. God knows when GTA 6 will hit PC and when it does we can be sure not to buy until you actually make a product that can run and not stutter along or even freeze for 3-5 seconds every 30 seconds (and that's with a high end CPU and GPU). Get rid of your execs as they seem to be the ones causing the problems and they too have no excuse considering how many buy the product based solely on Rockstars Reputation. I have to wonder who makes the decisions in Rockstar as while the Devs seem capable enough the problem seems to be with your Publishers Take2Interactive and their terrible decisions to cut corners. Yes you made a fantastic game with RDR2 but you fell at the last hurdle and for what reason? Your games are considered the highest grossing titles in history especially with the desperate attempt to build a Casino in GTA V and you couldn't even do a proper PC port even after a whole year of Console Exclusivity. RDR2 was likely your last chance at Redemption with the PC community and yes the pun is intended however your recent release has just told the entire world where you put PC gamers on your priorities list. Remember WB and Arkham Knight? That had a framerate issue but from reports we are seeing even worse framerate and freezes on RDR2! What did WB do? They apologised and gave every steam user all the Arkham Series for free! What astounds me is how you keep getting away with this as lesser publishers have been hauled over the coals for shoddy ports. That might've worked if the Launcher wasn't worse than the early days of Uplay. You called it an Epic Store exclusive for a time but that wasn't strictly true either as both Steam and Epic versions have to go through your terrible launcher so really it was always a primary target to have everyone, regardless of platform, to use the Rockstar Launcher. You had a whole year to release a competent PC port and given your money and resources there was no excuse but what we see is a repeat of when you launched GTA 4 and 5 on PC which was also a non launching buggy mess.
